Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to information submitted through the contact form on this website, and to the details held for existing members.
What is collected
Through the contact form: a name, an email address, the message written, and a record that consent to be contacted was given.
For existing members: a name, an email address, and a protected form of the chosen password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read back by anyone, including the people operating this site.
Nothing else is requested. This website never asks for a Social Insurance Number, banking or credit-card details, investment-account information, government identification, financial statements, or cryptocurrency wallet information. Any message claiming otherwise did not come from Nordvern International.
Why it is collected
Contact-form details are collected for one purpose: to reply to the enquiry that was submitted.
Member details are collected in order to provide access to the reading material in the members area.
How it is used
A submitted enquiry is delivered by email to the Nordvern International contact address and answered from there. It is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not shared with anyone else.
Member details are used to sign a member in and for nothing else.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. The website itself stores no copy of any submitted message.
Member records are kept for as long as the account remains in use, and are deleted on request or when access is no longer required.
Who can access it
Only the small number of people who operate Nordvern International and administer this website. There is no third-party access.
This website runs no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no third-party scripts of any kind. No cookie is set for tracking; the only cookie used is the one that keeps a signed-in member signed in.
Correcting or deleting information
A request to see, correct, or delete held information can be made using the contact details on the Contact page. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
